2019 harvest is a go!

We've brought half our grapes in for this harvest. Last week, we started with Grenache Blanc. This is the first white we've made since the Viognier in the 2015 harvest. We whole cluster pressed one ton.

And yesterday, we brought in our first red grapes of this harvest - a ton of Malbec. The Malbec is our second time buying grapes from Ron Silva of Silvaspoons Vineyards, the first being Tempranillo we made in 2017.

Still to come is Graciano and Teroldego. Stop by to check these out fermenting. They make the winery smell wonderful!
